The Dance 4 Teens Company consists of seven girls and four boys between the ages of thirteen and seventeen. The group, which comes from Cologne have worked together for three years now. During this time, under the direction of Sonia Mota, the formation developed ist own dance expression. They fascinate the audience with their dance lust and their dynamic movements. In their presentation, the twelve teenagers don’t just use dancing as a way of communication, but also as satire, persiflage, pantomine, comedy and poetry. Because of this, a dense and ever changing impression- and communicationspacesystem arises through the integration of dance, theatre, music and speech. Sonia Mota sees her task as accompaning the improvisational work of the group and to give them the necessary direction to translate their thoughts into dance and expression.
